JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- Jacksonville Main Street will host a murder-mystery dinner, Cheese-Murder in Paradise, on Friday at MacMurray College.
The Jimmy Buffett-themed dinner will include a gourmet burger bar, fish tacos, margarita bar and other island-themed treats while guests enjoy a performance by Upstage Productions.
Tending bar at the event will be Rep. CD Davidsmeyer and State's Attorney Gray Noll.
The guest who correctly guesses "who killed the parrot head" will win a prize package for 15 of appetizers and drinks from the new downtown retail shop Taylors Mercantile.
All funds raised from this event will go towards further efforts by Jacksonville Main Street for the revitalization, beatification and economic restructuring of downtown Jacksonville.
