QUINCY -- A Quincy man accused of having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13 entered a not-guilty plea Tuesday morning in Adams County Circuit Court.

Jeffrey S. Bauman, 44, is facing two counts of predatory sexual assault stemming from his Oct. 2 arrest in connection with a Jan. 8, 2016, incident.

Bauman's case was placed on the March 13 jury trial docket. If convicted, Bauman could face six to 30 years in prison for each count. He would not be eligible for probation.

Bauman remains free after posting $3,000 bond Oct. 11.
