SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will host an information session for people interested in volunteer opportunities at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1.
The two-hour session will be in the presidential library's multi-purpose room.
Volunteers will be asked to attend three additional training sessions that are planned for Feb. 15, Feb. 22 and March 1. Each three-hour session will start at 5:30 p.m.
To register, contact Jeremy Carrell, director of volunteer services, at 217-558-8872.
The library and museum use a combination of scholarship and high-tech showmanship to immerse visitors in the life and times of Lincoln.
