Hamilton man injured in crash south of LaGrange

LAGRANGE, Mo. -- A Hamilton, Ill., man was injured in a Saturday morning crash south of LaGrange.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Chase A. Cooley, 18, was traveling south on U.S. 61, one mile south of LaGrange, at 7:30 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle went off the left side of the road and overturned several times into the median; the car came to rest on its wheels.

Cooley, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill, with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by Adams County Ambulance, Lewis County Sheriff's Department and Lewis County Fire Department.
