Louisiana, Mo., woman arrested on drug charges

LOUISIANA, Mo. -- A Louisiana woman is being held in the Pike County Jail after being arrested on multiple drug charges.

Melinda Ralph, 38, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of amphetamine, both Class D felonies, and two counts of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanors.

The Pike County Sheriff's Department said deputies served a narcotics search warrant Saturday at 519 Washington St. in Louisiana. During the search, deputies allegedly found narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia.

Police said the warrant was issued based on information obtained by deputies while enforcing regular traffic laws.
