Authorities turn blind eye to veterinarian's misdeeds

To The Herald-Whig:

I'm writing in regard to the recent story regarding Dr. Andrew Kaiser.

So much for justice in Quincy, where the powers that be turn a blind eye to these atrocities.

Instead of enforcing the established animal abuse laws and bringing a veterinarian to answer for his self-admitted multiple animal abuses, neglect, purposeful death and torture.

Criminal court was scheduled for April 10, then magically canceled due to a "prior agreement with former state's attorney" less than one week to court date. Irrefutable, hard evidence and eyewitness accounts were presented to the former State's Attorney (Jon) Barnard and (assistant) Jennifer Cifaldi, where it was sat upon and never addressed despite outcries during their terms.

This sickens me and is an outrage.

I guess if you are in power, one does what one pleases by picking and choosing what and who you prosecute.

They may need to honor this mystery "agreement," but what about morals and ethics?
