To The Herald-Whig:
What is it with the way men dress today? A baseball cap with a suit? A sport coat over a T-shirt? Pants worn so long they bunch up in folds on top of his shoes?
Whoa, who let him out of the house looking like that?
You probably can thank the teenagers who wore drooping pants to school about 30 years ago. The adults saw this and thought, hey, if they can look this bad and get away with it, so can we. And overnight a fashion statement was born.
According to those in the know, for the ideal length, trousers should break right at the top of the shoes. No longer. No shorter.
So pass this on to our dashing American stud, the dork in the handsome cut with the balled-up britches. If he wants to wear the crown of sartorial splendor, he'd better lose the baseball cap for starters.
