QUINCY -- An 18-year-old Quincy man has pleaded not guilty to a criminal damage to property charge stemming from his alleged role in numerous vandalism incidents.

Court records show that Connor M. Neisen entered the plea Wednesday in Adams County Circuit Court. Neisen is charged with one count of criminal damage to property. He also faces one count of illegal possession of ammunition without a firearm owner's identification card, a Class A misdemeanor.

The case was set for the July jury trial docket.

Neisen and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested April 9 after callers to 911 reported home and car windows being shot with BBs in an area from 12th and Adams to Front and Broadway.

After being provided with a description of a 1992 Ford F-150, Quincy police officers were able to find the truck near Front and Payson Avenue. Officers allegedly found a BB gun in the truck.

Neisen remains free after posting $300 bond.
