Crash north of Anabel injures Clarence man

ANABEL, Mo. -- A Friday afternoon crash north of Anabel injured a Clarence man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2001 Ford F350 driven by John W. Koch, 43, of Clarence, was southbound on Orbit Road, 4 1/2 miles north of Anabel, at 4:50 p.m. The patrol said when the vehicle crested a hill, it met a farm tractor and skidded off the left side of the road, coming to rest off the road.

Koch, was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Macon with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Macon County Sheriff's Department, Clarence Police Department, Macon Rural Fire Department and Clarence Fire Department.
