Kahoka teen injured after Clark County crash

REVERE, Mo. -- A Kahoka, Mo., resident suffered minor injuries after her vehicle overturned several times about 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Brooklyn N. Norton, 17, was traveling eastbound along Highway C near Revere when she ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and struck an embankment. Her vehicle, a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, then overturned several times.

Norton was taken by Clark County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for her injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, the Highway Patrol said in its report.

Her vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by Clark County Sheriff's Department and Clark County Rescue.
