QUINCY -- Police are investigating a shooting of a man in Quincy that they say is not being treated as a random act.
The Quincy Police Department said officers were called about 5:30 a.m. Monday to Blessing Hospital for a report a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound who arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. Police said the wound was to the man's shoulder, and it is not life threatening. He has since been treated and released.
Police said it appeared individuals involved in the shooting knew each other and that no arrests have been made at this time.
