SHELBYVILLE, Mo. -- The North Shelby eight-man football team rallied from 20 points down to defeat the Kansas School for the Deaf 66-54 Thursday night.
The game was called at halftime after KSD's request to move to six-man football was denied. KSD has only 11 players on roster.
The Raiders trailed 34-14 with a little more than five minutes remaining in the opening quarter, and they rallied to take a 50-48 lead with 4:45 remaining in the first half.
Ethan Geisendorfer led the Raiders with 137 rushing yards on 10 carries and three touchdowns while Jadyn Hardy had 83 rushing yards on eight carries and two touchdowns. Mason Uhlmeyer had 107 rushing yards on seven carries with a touchdown.
North Shelby churned out 520 rushing yards.
