C-SC closes regular season with victory

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Culver-Stockton College men's soccer team scored three goals during the second half to beat William Penn 3-2 in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match Saturday night.

The Wildcats tied the score at 1 when Javier Magallon scored off assists from View Rungpao and Mackenzie Northern in the 49th minute. Northern scored the go-ahead goal unassisted four minutes later.

Reece Miller's unassisted goal gave C-SC a 3-1 lead in the 63rd minute.

The Wildcats (8-7-3, 6-6-0 Heart) were outshot by the Statesmen 13-11.

C-SC will be the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament and will host 10th-seeded Graceland in a play-in match Tuesday.
