HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal-LaGrange University volleyball team struggled to keep pace with No. 12 Missouri Baptist, losing 25-5, 25-17, 25-13 in American Midwest Conference action Wednesday night at the Mabee Center.

The Trojans grabbed a 4-2 lead in the third set -- their only lead of the night -- before Missouri Baptist went on an 8-0 run to help finish things off.

Shelby Maupin led HLGU (5-24, 2-9 AMC) with six kills, three digs and three blocks. Allyson Richterkessing had seven assists.
