Hawks unable to sustain attack against Screaming Eagles

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- A great start didn't lead to a better ending for the Quincy University women's volleyball team Friday night.

After rolling to a nine-point victory in the first set against Southern Indiana, the Hawks struggled with a consistent attack and lost 16-25, 25-17, 28-26, 25-16 Friday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

The Hawks (7-19, 4-11 GLVC) had 17 kills as a team in the first set, averaged just 10 kills per set the rest of the match.

Bekah Raebel led the Hawks with 15 kills, while Bobby Eastman had 10. Marissa Gonzalez finished with 23 digs, while Miranda Rodriguez had 29 assists and 12 digs.
