Miss Jennifer Terwelp and Cory Duesterhaus were married at 1 p.m. April 22 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy.
The bride is a daughter of Nick and Lori Terwelp of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Les and Ceil Duesterhaus.
The Rev. Leo Enlow conducted the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. John Kennedy; the bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Amber Terwelp of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Natalie Jensen of Fishers, Ind.; Brittany Ellerman of Quincy, cousin of the bride; and Kelsey Terwelp of Quincy and Brittany Terwelp of O'Fallon, Mo., sisters-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Chad Duesterhaus of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brad Martin of Orlando, Fla.; Scott Stadler of Quincy; and Alex Terwelp of Quincy and Shane Terwelp of O'Fallon, brothers of the bride.
Ushers were Matthew Jansen of Macomb, Ill., and Tyler Jansen of Honolulu, cousins of the bridegroom, and Joseph Terwelp of Quincy, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Chloe Terwelp, goddaughter of the bride, and Kate Stadler. Ring bearer was Jack Mayes of Lake St. Louis, Mo., cousin of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted April 21 at Sprout's Inn by the bridegroom's parents. A reception began at 6 p.m. at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.
After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, the newlyweds are at home in Quincy.
The bride graduated from Quincy Notre Dame High School and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She is employed by Winters Insurance Group and is the coach of the QND Pom Pon Squad.
The bridegroom graduated from QND, Western Illinois University and received a master of business administration from Quincy University. He is employed by Knapheide Manufacturing Co. and is the assistant coach of the QND football team.
