HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal-LaGrange University men's soccer team used three second-half goals by Isaac Lehmkuhl to beat Lyon 3-0 in American Midwest Conference Tournament on Saturday.

After HLGU managed just two shots on goal in the first half, Lehmkuhl found the back of the net on an assist by Adriano Baeta in the 58th minute.

Lehmkuhl scored an unassisted goal in the 85th minute and finished the hat trick in the 86th minute on an assist from Philip Kamletz.

"This was another great team effort with extra good finishing by Lehmkuhl," HLGU coach David Erksine said. "I am proud of the team as we will look to keep the momentum against Columbia College."

The Trojans (10-6-1, 8-3-1) will face second-seeded Columbia in the AMC quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Cougars won the regular season meeting 1-0.

HLGU outshot Lyon 17-13 and held the Scots to three shots on goal. The Trojans had a 10-0 edge in corner kicks.
