HLGU stagnant in second half in loss to William Penn

OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Hannibal-LaGrange University women's basketball team had nearly as many turnovers as field goal attempts in Tuesday night's 95-34 loss to William Penn.

Despite an eight-point first quarter, the Trojans trailed only 40-25 at halftime. However, the Statesmen went on a 22-3 run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. HLGU scored just nine points in the second half.

HLGU's Emma Anderson finished with nine points and seven rebounds.
