HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A New London man had minor injuries after a Thursday night crash that totaled his vehicle.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Anthony W. Bremmer, 53, was traveling south on old Mo. 79, five miles south of Hannibal, at 5:54 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, returned to the road, then crossed the center line and ran off the left side before overturning and coming to rest on the driver's side in a ditch.

Bremmer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was to seek treatment on his own for minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Hannibal Rural Fire Department and Ralls County Ambulance.
