HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Children ages 5 to 12 years old will have a jolly time creating holiday gifts at the Hannibal Arts Council's annual event, Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop, on Dec. 2.

Two sessions are being offered. Participants may choose to attend either two-hour workshop at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St.

Projects to be created include Tea Light Snowman, Paper Snowflake, Special Star Wire Ornament, 3-D Card Station, Sparkle Ball Ornament, Snowy Night Window, Fluffy the Snowman Sculpture and Reindeer Chow Snack Station.

The cost for the program is $10 per child and $5 for each additional child per family. Scholarships are available upon request. Holly Jolly programs typically sell out, so early registration is encouraged. To register, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or reservations@hannibalarts.com.

The Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop is the perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents and children to work together to create projects while also discovering the art of giving. The workshops are sponsored by the George H. Riedel Private Foundation and the Missouri Arts Council.
