Miss Abby Drebes and Adam Lister, both of Hull, Ill., exchanged wedding vows April 1 at Barry United Methodist Church in Barry, Ill.
The bride is a daughter of Wayne and Jackie Drebes of Fowler, Ill. The bridegroom is a son of John and Rosette Lister of Barry.
Mr. Drebes gave his daughter in marriage during the 1:30 p.m. ceremony conducted by Shawn McAfee and Tony Loyd.
Matron of honor was Katie Wells, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Angie Ward of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Jessica Jones of Cincinnati, sister of the bride, and Alason Vecchie of Quincy, Bailey Herman of Chicago, and Elizabeth Hultz and Laurie Gilbert, both of Quincy.
Best man was Greg Lewton. Groomsmen were Glen Lister of Pittsfield, Ill., and Brian Lister of Barry, brothers of the bridegroom; Justin Wells of Quincy and Justin Jones of Cincinnati, brothers-in-law of the bride; and Alex Wells of Quincy, nephew and godson of the bride.
Flower girls were Charlee Lister of Pittsfield, niece of the bridegroom, and Sydney Jones of Cincinnati, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Ethan Wells of Quincy and Zachary Jones of Cincinnati, nephews of the bride, and Eric Lister of Pittsfield, nephew of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Apple Basket Farm in Barry. A reception began at 6 p.m. at the Ambiance in Quincy.
The newlyweds are at home in Hull and plan a wedding trip to Hawaii in March 2018.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Quincy High School, a 2008 graduate of Quincy University with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and will graduate in May 2018 from the University of Illinois, Springfield, with a master's degree in accounting. She is employed by Quincy Recycle in talent acquisition.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Barry High School, is an Eagle Scout and volunteers with the Boy Scouts. He is a journeyman electrician at Brown Electric and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 34.
