Larry and Patricia Trautvetter

Larry and Patricia Trautvetter of 1303 N. 2800th Ave., Loraine, Ill., will mark their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of thanksgiving at St. Edward Catholic Church, and a celebration with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, friends and their wedding party. The celebration will be hosted by their children.

Mr. Trautvetter and the former Patricia Reardon were married Dec. 2, 1967, at the Loraine Christian Church parsonage.

Mrs. Trautvetter is a daughter of the late Paul James and Julia Frances Holloway Reardon. Mr. Trautvetter is a son of the late Cecil Emery and Mildred Edith Irvin Trautvetter.

They are the parents of Scott and Lisa Trautvetter, Steven and Carla Trautvetter, Stacy Ann Trautvetter, and Spencer and Dawn Trautvetter. They have 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Trautvetter is a retired farmer and is Loraine fire chief. He has served with the Loraine Fire Department for 55 years, including 20 years as fire chief. He served five years in the Army, and has been a member of the Loraine Lions Club for 42 years and is a past president.

Mrs. Trautvetter was employed by the Adams County Circuit Clerk's office and St. Edward Catholic Church before retiring. She is a past member of Adams County Legal Secretaries.

They are members of St. Edward Catholic Church, where he is a member of the Men's Club and she is a member of the Ladies of St. Edward and is a past Eucharistic minister.

The couple met on a blind date to the Adams County Fair on July 30, 1967.
