Cassie Eidson * Payson Seymour

5-6 * Junior * Setter

Eidson moved into the starting lineup and orchestrated the most dangerous offense in the area, recording 964 assists. "She was coachable and very smart about who she set with the ball," Indians coach Teresa Loos-Tedrow said.

Sierra Erke * Quincy High School

6-2 * Opposite hitter * Senior

Erke was an all-Western Big Six pick after recording 262 kills, 142 digs and 249 serves received. She leaves QHS ranked fifth all-time in kills (855) and blocks (208). "She is among the best to play at QHS," Blue Devils coach Kelly Sullivan said.

Kamryn Flesner * Payson Seymour

5-9 * Senior * Outside hitter

Flesner played all out, all the time, with a powerful swing as a hitter (280 kills) or as an aggressive jump server. "She was the spark plug who made us go. Blockers and defenders feared her," Indians coach Teresa Loos-Tedrow said.

Lauren Glick * Southeastern

5-9 * Senior * Middle Hitter

Glick still put up solid numbers despite having to work with three setters during the season. She had 311 kills, 64 blocks and 235 digs. "She shouldered a great deal of responsibility in the back row," Suns coach Tim Kerr said.

Sydney Hummert * Quincy Notre Dame

5-10 * Sophomore * Outside Hitter

Hummert had 376 kills, 324 digs and 300 serves received as she led the Raiders to a second-place finish in the Class 2A state tournament. "Sydney will be a forced in the area for the next two years," Raiders coach Rich Meyer said.

Mariah Markert * Brown County

6-0 * Senior * Outside Hitter

Markert leaves Mount Sterling as the all-time leading hitter and blocker in school history. She led the Hornets to their first regional title appearance by recording 280 kills, and she had 260 digs and 230 serves received.

Josie Stanford * Payson Seymour

6-1 * Senior * Middle Hitter

Stanford was the most dangerous offensive threat for the Indians, collecting 409 kills (including 13 in the state title game). She also recorded 68 aces, and she was a good passer as well with 146 digs and 116 serves received.

Melina Tedrow * Payson Seymour

5-6 * Senior * Libero

Payson Seymour's offense got started with Tedrow's passing. She had 457 digs and 452 serves received. She also was a good server with 64 aces and 345 points. "Melina was our vocal and emotional leader," Indians coach Teresa Loos-Tedrow said.
