JWCC's offense disappears in second half

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The John Wood Community College men's team trailed 15th-ranked Highland Community College by five points at halftime.

That deficit ballooned in the second half.

JWCC was outscored by 27 points in the final 20 minutes to suffer a 91-59 loss Saturday afternoon.

The Blazers (6-4) shot 43.2 percent for the game, Highland, however, shot 55.7 percent and better than 64 percent in the second half.

JWCC committed 20 turnovers.

Mason Sclotzhauer led the Blazers with 18 points along with seven rebounds, and Jonny Dahl had 16.
