Salvation Army hosts 'Christmas Treevia' event

QUINCY -- The Quincy Salvation Army will present an afternoon of Christmas-themed trivia to be held at the Kroc Center on Sunday, Dec. 10.

"Christmas Treevia" is a family-friendly event open to all ages that focuses on testing participants' knowledge of Christmas, including traditions, movies, songs and more.

Doors are set to open at 12:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Those interested in participating can gather a team of up to 8 participants at a cost of $10 per individual. Participants are also encouraged to wear their best ugly Christmas sweater as prizes will be awarded. A silent auction will also be held for Christmas-themed gift baskets. Seating is limited. Snacks and drinks will be available. No alcohol will be permitted at the event. All proceeds benefit the Salvation Army's Christmas Campaign.
