CANTON, Mo. -- A festive candlelit procession and holiday music are set as Culver-Stockton College welcomes the entire community to its annual Christmas Concert, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Alexander Campbell Auditorium.

The Collegiate Choir will perfrom Biebl's "Ave Maria," a modern carol by John Rutter, arrangements of traditional carols that feature pianists Baylee Carroll and Derek Froman, and a Moses Hogan spiritual, "Glory, Glory, Glory to the Newborn King."

The Chamber Choir will sing "There Is No Rose" as well as lighthearted carols "The Holly and the Ivy" and "Ding Dong."

The Concert Choir will perfrom a 17th-century song, "Hodie Christus Natus Est" and a modern song, "A Hymn to the Virgin."

Immediately after the Christmas Concert, audiences move to Merillat Hall where jazz combos and vocal a cappella groups will perform for a reception with dancing and refreshments to ring in the holidays.

These events are part of C-SC's Academic and Cultural Events programming.
