South Shelby remains undefeated in win over North Shelby

MONROE CITY, Mo. -- The South Shelby girl's basketball team used a fast start to defeat North Shelby 62-20 Tuesday in the Monroe City tournament.

North Shelby (4-0) took an 18-4 first quarter lead. In the second quarter, Caitlyn Poore hit three 3-pointers and helped the Raiders to a 36-8 halftime lead..

Poore finished with 21 points to lead all scorers. Diane Mayes added 14 points and Lexie Higbee 13.

South Shelby 62, North Shelby 20
