CANTON, Mo. -- Mike Johnson made two free throws with 35 seconds left in overtime to help the Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team secure a 91-90 victory over Lindenwood-Belleville Wednesday at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats (3-7) snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory.

After Johnson's free throws, C-SC blocked a shot attempt by Lindenwood's Sean McGee, and Tarae Potter went to the line with 17 seconds left. Potter, however, missed both foul shots, but Lindenwood couldn't get off a clean shot before the buzzer.

Johnson finished with a team-high 24 points, while Potter scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Lindenwood (3-8) led 90-87 with 1:49 left in overtime, but Johnson hit a jumper with 1:17 to go. After a turnover, Johnson was fouled and made both game-winning free throws.

The score was tied at 81 at the end of regulation after Lindenwood's Martavian Payne knocked down a 3-pointer with 11.5 seconds remaining. The Wildcats had a chance at a game-winner, but Potter's trey fell short.

C-SC trailed 40-34 at halftime, and it fell behind by as many as 12 with 11:19 left in the game. C-SC rallied to take a 69-68 lead after a Johnson three-point play.
