Wolfe hits 3-pointer at buzzer

MONROE CITY, Mo. -- Case Wolfe hit a last-second 3-pointer to give the Marion County boys basketball team a 52-51 victory over Paris in the consolation semifinals of the Monroe City Tournament Wednesday night.

The game was close throughout as the Mustangs trailed by just a point heading to the fourth quarter. Marion County knocked down three treys in the final eight minutes, and it made 4 of 6 free throws.

Sheldon Whetstone had three foul shots in the quarter.

Ty Bowdish led Marion County with 16 points, and seven of those came in the first quarter. Wolfe added 13 while Whetstone had 10 points.
