Wolves pitch shutout in first quarter

WHITE HALL, Ill. -- The Pleasant Hill boys basketball team didn't allow a point in the first quarter on the way to a 48-22 victory over Griggsville-Perry in the North Greene Spartan Invitational Wednesday.

The Wolves led 10-0 after the opening quarter, and built a 25-10 advantage going into the locker room.

Pleasant Hill's Dalton Crane scored a game-high 13 points. Eight of those points came in the second half.

Crane was one of three Wolves to scoring in double figures. Harley Miller added 12 points while Grant Peebles scored 10.

The Tornadoes' Matthew Myers led with five points.
