I've always wanted to know if the no-right-turn-on-red sign by the Bayview Bridge heading to West Quincy is for the people sitting on Third Street waiting to turn right onto bridge, or is it for if you are sitting at the light and heading to go down toward the river?
The sign is for no turns on a red light and would apply to all lanes of traffic. So if you are heading south on Third Street and want to turn right onto the Bayview Bridge, you may not do so on red. If you want to turn west onto Broadway to head to the Mississippi River or access Front Street, don't do it on red either.
