Brown County pulls away in fourth quarter

GREENFIELD, Ill. -- Darian Drake scored 14 points while Tanner Sussenbach added 13 for the Brown County boys' basketball team in a 48-35 victory over Greenfield Tuesday.

Nathan Hendricker got the offense started for the Hornets (9-3) when he scored five of their 17 first-quarter points as they built a 12-point lead. Brown County led 26-17 at halftime, and Greenfield then limited the Hornets to one field goal in the third quarter to get within seven points.

Brown County outscored Greenfield 16-10 in the fourth quarter despite making just two of five free throws.
