QUINCY -- A car flipped onto its top Tuesday afternoon on Maine Street, but the driver declined medical treatment afterward.
Quincy police reported that Bodie L. Maas, 20, of Quincy, told officers he was headed west on Maine, became tired and drifted off the left side of Maine Street, striking a tree between 16th and 18th streets.
The car ended up on its top on the south side of the street. Traffic was halted for a short time about 3 p.m. while crews removed the wreckage.
Maas had no apparent injuries and refused medical treatment. He was cited for improper lane use, according to the Quincy Police Department.
