Vehicle collides with truck plowing road in Hannibal

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A vehicle collided with a truck plowing a snow-covered road Sunday morning in Hannibal.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Stella I. Baldan, 25, of Nashville, Tenn., was driving her 2013 Dodge Charger northbound on U.S. 61 near Hannibal at 8 a.m. when she rear-ended a 2005 International 7400 Dump Truck driven by Dillon J. Tolivar, 25, of Hannibal.

Tolivar suffered minor injuries, and Baldan suffered moderate injuries after the collision. The report said Tolivar was wearing a seat belt, but it is unknown if Baldan was wearing one. Both were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance.

The Dodge Charger was totaled, and the dump truck sustained minor damage.

The highway patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department and Hannibal Rural Fire.
