CARTHAGE, Ill. -- Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its Here's to the Night gala Friday, April 6, at Lake Hill Winery.
This year the theme is Swingin' on a Star with a 1940s "supper club" atmosphere complete with big band-themed music by Big River Swing Machine of Quincy. Emcees will be Tegan Orpet of KHQA-TV and her daughter, Kaylyn, who is Miss Adams County.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. featuring hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. A short presentation from the foundation will begin at 6:45 p.m. with a dinner at 7 p.m. A silent cake auction will take place during the social hour and dinner with winners announced at 8 p.m. Dancing will begin after dinner, and a live auction will begin at 9 p.m.
Funds raised will go to the Enjoy the Ride campaign for a new recreational vehicle for the Hancock Village campus.
