WICHITA, Kan. -- The Culver-Stockton College baseball team suffered an 11-4 loss to Friends University on Wednesday.

The Wildcats had five players with two or more hits, but it wasn't enough to mount a rally.

Friends University led 8-1 after four innings. C-SC cut the deficit in half with a three-run fifth inning as Jordan Vazquez registered the first of his three doubles and scored on a triple by Sam Riley. Collin Haney scored on a single by TJ Durfee, and Durfee eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Kuhl.

Vazquez went 3 for 4 while Riley, Durfee, Jonny Damon and Alejandro Cardinale each collected two hits. Eight C-SC pitchers combined to give up 14 hits.
