Kansas City, Kan., man convicted of cocaine possession

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A Kansas City, Kan., man was found guilty Tuesday on one count of possession of cocaine after a one-day trial in Marion County Circuit Court.

Daniel Reyes-Bustamante, 23, was arrested after a traffic stop on July 8, 2018, on U.S. 36 near Bear Creek. The case was investigated by the Marion County Sheriff's Department and tried by Special Prosecutor Corey Moon.

Reyes-Bustamante is set to be sentenced July 6.
