Junior Legion winning streak snapped

The Quincy Post 37 Junior Legion baseball team's four-game winning streak ended Tuesday night as New Berlin won 6-2 in the Jacksonville Summer Prep League.

Six Quincy pitchers gave up a total of 13 hits, and the defense made four errors. New Berlin scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning to lead 3-0, added a run in the second and two more in the fourth inning.

Quincy had only three hits, scoring runs in the second and fifth innings.
