Driver injured when motorcycle runs off road in Pike County, Mo.

PAYNESVILLE, Mo. -- A Foley man suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in southern Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Ray W. Farris, 83, was driving south on Route W, south of Pike County Road 220, when his 1986 Harley-Davidson Street Glide failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the road and overturned.

Farris was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
