Quincy man found floating in Mississippi River

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Hannibal Police say the body of an unnamed 65-year-old Quincy, Ill., man who was found dead in the Mississippi River last weekend showed no signs of foul play.

Lt. John Zerbonia of the Hannibal Police Department said an autopsy was performed by the Boone County medical examiner after the body was found near the Hannibal marina at 9:48 a.m. Saturday. The Hannibal Fire Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol recovered the body.

Zerbonia said the investigation is ongoing.
