HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Applications for free and reduced-price meals at Hannibal Public Schools are now available at school offices.

Application information is kept confidential. A complete application includes household income from all sources or Food Stamp/TANF case number; names of all household members; and the last four digits of the Social Security number of the adult signing the application or indication of no Social Security number.

Applications must be returned to the school.

Foster children may be eligible regardless of the income of the household with whom they live.

If a family member becomes unemployed or if family size changes, the family should contact the school to file a new application.

The school has a chart for determining eligibility. For example, a household of four must have a monthly income of $2,720 or annual income of $32,630 or less to qualify for free meals. A household of the same size would need to have a monthly income of $3,870 or annual income of $46,435 or less to qualify for reduced-price meals.
