HLGU suffers shutout loss on the road

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Evangel University women's soccer team scored three goals in the opening 18 minutes to beat Hannibal-LaGrange 7-0 in a season-opening, non-conference match Saturday.

Six Crusaders scored, led by Amber Ellis with two goals. Evangel outshot the Trojans 31-7. HLGU keeper Madi Allen made 13 saves.
