Two late goals enough for C-SC women's soccer team in victory

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton women's soccer team scored two late goals 54 seconds apart to beat Avila 2-0 Sunday at the Zarda Sports Complex.

Sydnie Martin broke a scoreless tie when she scored on a penalty kick in the 76th minute. Less than a minute later, Montse Caparros scored an unassisted goal for a 2-0 C-SC lead.

The Wildcats (2-0) outshot the Eagles 21-1.
