Hickman has 26 kills in C-SC victory

CANTON, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton College women's volleyball team dropped the first set but rallied to beat Hannibal-LaGrange 24-26, 27-25, 25-11, 25-22 at Charles Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

The score was tied at 24 in the first set when the Trojans scored the final two points on a service error and a kill from Ashlyn Spay. The Wildcats held the lead through out most of the second set and scored three straight points to take a 21-18 lead, but the Trojans rallied to tie the game at 25. The Wildcats killed the threat by scoring the next two points.

The Wildcats (3-3) took a five-point lead early in the fourth set, but the Trojans (2-6) got within 23-22. Culver-Stockton took the set and the match with kills from Hannah Arras and Gabby Hickman, who had 26 kills. Brenley Stearns had nine kills for HLGU.
