HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Tickets for Hannibal-LaGrange University's 77th annual Booster Banquet go on sale Saturday. The banquet will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 9.
This year's keynote speaker is Luke Zamperini, son of Olympian and World War II prisoner of war Louis Zamperini.
People will be familiar with Louis Zamperini if they read the 2010 book by Laura Hillenbrand "Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption" and if they saw the 2014 movie "Unbroken," which was directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie's sequel, "Unbroken: Path to Redemption," is set to be released Sept. 14.
Louis Zamperini died July 2, 2014, but Luke continues to educate audiences about his father.
HLGU said in a release that Zamperini in his speech will focus on how the discipline of athletics, scouting and education prepared Louis to survive at sea and help him to endure cruelty and humiliation as a prisoner of war. Zamperini will identify key moments in his father's life that have shaped and molded his own character, compelled him into a life of service and led him to a career in the field of emergency preparedness.
Ticket prices are:

º Executive admission $175. Includes reserved parking, admission to a private reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with Zamperini and a reserved seat at the banquet. Ticket holders will receive a copy of Hillenbrand's book, meet Zamperini and have a photo taken with him.
