Jeff and Cindy Steinkamp of Quincy made a workshop presentation titled
"Unforgiveness -- The Poison in Your Grief Journey" on Aug. 4 at the 2018 Bereaved Parents of the USA National Gathering Conference in Memphis, Tenn.
Kelsey Deters of Quincy has been named assistant director of the District. She had been volunteer coordinator at Quincy Community Theatre and executive assistant at Arts Quincy. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Quincy Civic Music Association. Deters has a degree in women and gender studies from Webster University.
Jana Hattey of Maywood, Mo., has been named executive vice president, community bank president of Peoples Prosperity Bank in Quincy. She has 20 years of experience in banking, joining the bank in 2012 as vice president, commercial banking officer. She later was named senior vice president, commercial banking officer. Hattey has a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Culver-Stockton College and a master's degree in finance from Quincy University.
Quincy University Dining Services, operated by the Compass Group's Chartwells Higher Education division, has received two regional awards for best practices for the third consecutive year.
QU Dining has been selected 2018 Chartwells Higher Education Regional Account of the Year. QU Dining's leadership team includes Chris Blakeman, senior director of dining; Joe Bordewick, director of dining; Kelly Pfab, assistant director of dining; and chef Chase Mangan. Blakeman also was named 2018 Chartwells Higher Education Regional Director of the Year.
