Portions of 10 Quincy streets to be resurfaced starting Friday

QUINCY -- The city of Quincy plans to resurface portions of 10 streets starting Friday, Sept. 14.

Diamond Construction Co. will mill and resurface the streets over a four-week period as part of the city's 2018 motor fuel tax asphalt maintenance program.

These streets are to be resurfaced:

Maple Street from Fourth to Fifth.

Colonial Court.

Kenwood Avenue from College to Elm.

Forrest Avenue from College to Elm.

Oakland Avenue from College to Elm.

Larch Road.

Ranchland Drive.

South 15th Street Madison to Jefferson.

South 23rd Street from Cherry Lane to Brookmeade Drive.

South 23rd Street from Van Buren to Jackson.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully near the work zones and use alternate travel routes when possible.
