Ron and Marilyn Vest of Bowen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner March 29 in the State Room hosted by their daughter, Lori Becker of Reston, Va., and their granddaughters, Erin and Maya.

Mr. Vest and the former Marilyn Boekhaus were married April 25, 1958, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen.

Mrs. Vest is a daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred Boekhaus. Mr. Vest is a son of the late Francis and Virginia Vest of Colchester.

Mr. Vest is a builder, and Mrs. Vest is a sales clerk at Royalty's in Carthage.
