Rollie and Rosemary Platt of Quincy have announced the engagement of their daughter, Allison Marie Platt, to Gregory Kyle Arseneau, both of Chicago. He is a son of Gary Arseneau and Sherrill and Paul Wagner, all of Madison, Wis.

The bride-elect, formerly of Quincy, is a 1998 graduate of Quincy High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in 2002 from Quincy University and a master of science degree in 2005 from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Miss Platt is a school psychologist.

The prospective bridegroom, formerly of Madison, is a 1997 graduate of LaFollette High School in Madison and a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is employed by Nissan North America.

A June 7 wedding is planned in Madison.
