Larry and Kathy Schaffer of 2123 Aldo Blvd. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Erin Kathleen Schaffer, to Heath Alan Williams, son of Dave and Jolene Williams of St. Cloud, Fla.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Quincy High School, attended Lincoln Christian College and graduated summa cum laude from Illinois State University in 2007. Miss Schaffer is a teacher.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Florida Christian College. He is a preacher.

A spring wedding is planned in Madison Park Christian Church.
